The Origin
Born from the real, daily friction experienced by educators across the country.
In 2025, we looked at how schools were operating and saw chaos disguised as routine.
From manual attendance tracking to complex fee collection processes that took weeks to reconcile, we saw how outdated systems were fundamentally holding back educational institutions. Administrators were exhausted by paperwork, leaving less time for pedagogical leadership.
Our founder spent over 15 years within these very walls. Experiencing the daily struggles of managing student data, attempting to establish clear communication with parents, and generating reports manually inspired a radical thought: What if the software worked for the school, instead of the school working for the software?
Today, Gurukul serves over 500 schools across Nepal. We haven't just digitized old processes; we've completely re-engineered them to save time, eliminate errors, and restore focus to what matters most—education.
